LUSG: US Treasury bills on Base, accruing every minute.
LUSG (LIUM Short-Term US Government Treasuries) is a B20 Asset token backed by a ladder of real, outstanding US Treasury bills. Balances never move: the token's ERC-8056 multiplier carries the yield, stepped on-chain every minute along the bills' amortized value and checked daily against Treasury's own bill rates. Anyone can buy it with test dollars on Base Vibenet today.

The system at a glance
Decisions in one table
| Decision | Choice | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Token standard | B20 Asset, 18 decimals | A native precompile: roles, allowlists, seize, pause and a supply cap come built in, with no token contract to audit. B20 primer |
| Where yield lives | The ERC-8056 UI multiplier | Balances stay fixed, so DeFi sees a plain ERC-20; no vault share token. Coinbase's tokenized stocks on Base use the same lever for dividends. Yield design |
| Step cadence | Every minute | About $1.25 a day on Base mainnet, 0.2% of the basket's yield, and no midnight jump to arbitrage. Cadence |
| Valuation | Amortized cost, per bill lot | Each bill accretes from its cost to par; the basket follows the real bills, not an assumed rate. Pricing |
| Market check | Daily, from Treasury's bill rates | No feed prices bills minute by minute; a daily comparison flags a gap above 0.5%. Daily check |
| Bill prices on chain | Our own BillOracle | Pyth has no bill feeds; Tradeweb via Chainlink DataLink is licensed. Treasury's data is public. Bill oracle |
| Buying and redeeming | LusgDesk, at the basket's value | Dollars are booked as cash before minting, so no trade moves the price for others. Desk |
| Compliance | Allowlist and not blocklisted | One combined B20 policy on send, receive and mint; seizure enabled for all but the treasury. Compliance |
| Compiler | Solar v0.3.0 | Paradigm's Rust Solidity compiler, through Foundry 1.9.0. Operations |
